ICRC provides the following services for seniors:
Home Delivered Meals
Home delivered meals are available to older adults who are homebound and unable to prepare their meals. These meals are delivered by volunteers Monday through Friday at CCP and SOP.
Nutrition Sites
A hot nutritious meal and social or physical activity is provided for older adults Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
Physical Chairapy
Offered at both nutrition sites twice weekly.
Transportation
When a need has been identified, transportation to nutrition sites, medical facilities and other necessary appointments is available to older adults in our service area.
Loan Closet
The Ruth Browne Memorial Loan Closet loans wheelchairs, walkers, and other durable medical equipment to older adults on a short term basis. Donations of durable medical equipment are welcome at both SOP and CCP.
Case Management
Case workers are available at both CCP and SOP to older adults and their families to help identify needs and interests. Our case workers will assist them in gaining access to the programs, services, or benefits needed.
Senior Excursions
Travel with our group for the day or overnight. For more information, see our senior trips page or contact the Senior Programs Coordinator.
Competition Bridge, Duplicate Bridge, Bingo, Pincohle, and Canasta

Senior Fitness
Work out, stay in shape, and have fun! Classes are available at Seven Oaks Park and Crooked Creek Park.
Senior Fitness II
This is an exercise class for individuals who have physical limitations that may impair balance or movement. Class is available at Seven Oaks Park.
Personal Training for Seniors 50+
Criston Dailey is a certified Personal Trainer who specializes with middle aged and older adults at Seven Oaks Park and Crooked Creek Park. Please call the front desk for more information.
Tai Chi for Seniors
Crooked Creek Part is now offering Tai Chi classes, an excellent exercise to decrease the risk of falls for older adults. There is also a Non-Ambulatory Tai Chi class for those who have limited or no use of the legs, which is appropriate for wheelchair or walker users. Senior Sports Games
Compete at the Irmo Chapin Senior Sports Games, held each year in April. Events are for men and women ages 50+ and include bowling, horseshoes, bocce, track & field events, and MORE. For more information, contact Dena Long at 345-6181 or dlong@icrc.net.
