Sunset on the Shoals

Enjoy a interpretive paddle tour on the Saluda River and learn about the unique history of the area followed by a wine tasting at the Redbud shelter.  Take home a complimentary Saluda Shoals Park wine glass to commemorate the evening. Ages 21 & up.

Paddle & Pint

Paddle the calm waters of the Saluda River, surrounded by beautiful scenery and wildlife. Learn a new sport, have fun, and meet new friends. After an hour on the water, sample delicious Big Wave and Longboard craft beers from Kona Brewing Company at the River Overlook. Ages 21 and up.

Guided Canoe and Kayak Trips

Book an exciting guided river trip and see nature at its best.  The trip last approximately three hours and includes a brief paddle instruction before launching the boats.  Enjoy interpretation of the surrounding area along the way with a possible stop at Corely Island before arriving at the Gardendale take out.  All equipment and the return shuttle service are included.  For more booking information please contact Bryan Senn at 803-213-2054 or at bsenn@icrc.net 

 

Canoe and Kayak Rentals

Canoes, tandem kayaks and solo kayaks are available for rent daily from 9am - 5pm.  This is a great way to get outdoors and enjoy the Peaceful beauty of teh Saluda River.  Boats can be rented at the Environmental Education Center in Saluda Shoals Park.  Rentals include all necessary equipment.  Boats and equipment must be returned to the boat launch by 5pm.  Boats will not be rented when the river is above 2400cfs.  Check HERE for river conditions.
