RECREATION COORDINATOR II
The Irmo Chapin Recreation Commission has an opening for a Recreation Coordinator II at our Seven Oaks Park location. The duties will include coordinating and implementing comprehensive recreation and leisure programs, activities, services and events; as well as supervise full and part-time staff, develop program budgets, ensure the safety of all program participants. A Bachelors degree in parks and recreation, supplemented by three to five years of recreation programming experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. PART-TIME FIELD SUPERVISOR – YOUTH ATHLETICS
Responsibility includes getting games started in a timely fashion, filling in for officials, rules interpretation, crowd control, general safety of patrons and facilities, opening and closing of concessions, turning off lights and locking restrooms at the conclusion of games. Pay range is $8.00 - $9.00. Location is Crooked Creek Park in Chapin and Seven Oaks Park in Irmo. PART-TIME VAN DRIVERS - SENIOR SERVICES
Irmo Chapin Recreation Commission is currently hiring part-time van drivers to transport seniors to meal site and medical appointments. Approx. 10-15 hours a week. Competitive wages. Salary Range(Entry Level): $6.50- $9.00, Salary Range (Experienced Adult): $9.00 - $15.00. Education, recreation or child care experience preferred. PART-TIME FRONT DESK STAFF
Irmo Chapin Recreation Commission is hiring for part-time front desk staff. Responsibilities include: greeting and assisting park visitors; receiving and routing incoming calls in a courteous manner; collect, receipt and prepare registration fees and other payments for deposit. Successful candidate must possess exceptional inter-personal, organizational, and communication skills. 1-2 years experience and effective computers skills a plus.
