Eric Kimrey Wrestling Camp
Ages 7-12
Dates: July 9 - July 13, 9am-12noon
$50/ICRC District Resident; $63/Other
Camp Location: Irmo High School wrestling room
Covers the basics including positions and wrestling techniques. Fee includes t-shirt.
Dawn Rister Girls Softball Camp
Ages 6-14
Dates: July 9 - July 13, 6-9pm
$70/ICRC District Resident; $83/Other
Camp Location: Irmo High School softball field
All campers will learn the fundamentals of softball, including throwing, hitting, and fielding. All aspects of the game will be covered. Each camper will receive instruction aimed at developing an understanding of the game of softball. Each camper will be given the opportunity to practice and to participate in game situations. Fee includes t-shirt.
Dawn Rister Volleyball/Basketball Camp
Ages 6-14
Dates: July 9 - July 13, 9am-12noon
$70/ICRC District Resident; $83/Other
Camp Location: Dutch Fork Middle School gym
Includes instruction on passing, hitting, setting, blocking, serving, defense, offense and basic strategies of the game. Includes instruction on shooting, dribbling, ball handling, rebounding, offense, defense, and strategy. 2-on-2, 3-on-3, and 5-on-5 tournaments will be held. Campers should wear tennis shoes and kneepads. Fee includes t-shirt.
George Bryan Golf Camp
Ages 7-14
Dates: July 23 - July 27, 9am-12noon
$90/ICRC District Resident; $103/Other
Camp Location: TBA
This camp is for beginners and intermediate golfers. The camp will cover grip, stance, putting, chipping, pitching and driving. Golf clubs and extras will be provided. Fee includes t-shirt.
Phil Savitz Soccer Camp for Ages 4-5
Dates: July 16 - July 20, 9-10:30am
$45/ICRC District Resident; $53/Other
Camp Location: Seven Oaks Park gym
Includes game fundamentals, individual skills, tactics, shooting, passing, dribbling, and trapping. Campers should wear their tennis shoes, shin guards, and bring their own water bottle each day. No cleats please. Fee includes t-shirt.
Phil Savitz Soccer Camp
Ages 6-18
Dates: July 16 - July 20, 9am - 12noon
$70/ICRC District Resident; $83/Other
Camp Location: Seven Oaks Park fields
Includes game fundamentals, individual skills, tactics, shooting, passing, dribbling, and trapping. Campers should wear cleats and shinguards and bring their own water bottle each day. Campers should also bring tennis shoes in case of rain so they can participate indoors. Fee includes t-shirt.
FCA Sports Camp
Ages 8-11
Dates: July 23-26, Monday-Thursday, 9am-12:30pm
Camp Location: CrossRoads Middle School
$45/ICRC District Resident; $53/Other
This camp will focus on baseball, football, basketball, and soccer with emphasis on balance, hand-eye coordination, agility, and teamwork. Each day there will be a Fellowship of Christian Athletes chapel time. Instructed by Leaphart Elementary PE Teacher, Tim Geurkink
