Therapeutic Recreation
ICRC's Therapeutic Recreation program is designed to meet the needs of individuals with disabilities in our community. We offer programs for both children and adults with cognitive, physical and emotional disabilities. The purpose of our programs is to improve the lives of these individuals through lesiure activities such as arts and crafts, dances, special events, fitness and wellness programs, sports and movement.
Programs and Activities: Jazz Aerobics, Steps to Your Health, C.A.S.T. (Carolina Actors with Special Talents), Fishing Frenzy, Locomotion, Creative Artist, Santa's Elves Art Class, S.T.A.R. (Special Therapeutic Activities in Recreation), Wild Weekend Adventures and Special Olympics Programs.
Special Events: Back to School Bash, The Pumpkin Patch Party, Holiday Happening, Special Olympics Fall Classic, Sweetheart Dance, Summer Luau Dance, Hip Hop Halloween Ball and a Spring Dance.
