Our goal is to ensure all our fitness participants have a clean, fun, and safe environment. To achieve this goal, we ask all participants to honor the following guidelines and respect one another.

Pass holders and Guests acknowledge that you are physically able to engage in any activity, program or training provided and agree that all exercises and use of this facility are undertaken at your sole risk. You are fully responsibility for all personal belongings. Derogatory remarks involving any other Pass Holder or Guest will not be tolerated. Any behavior deemed unacceptable by the Fitness Center Staff will be addressed and corrective action may be required.

Fitness Area

  • Individuals must hold a fitness pass or an All-Access Pass to use the fitness equipment.

  • Appropriate attire required at all times. No open toed shoes/sandals.

  • Audio devices may be used with person headphones.

  • Participants using the fitness area must be 14 years of age or older.

  • Lower and raise plates carefully and use equipment with care. Please do not drop weights or dumbbells.

  • Wipe off equipment when you are finished. Disinfectant is available throughout the facility.

  • When using free weights, use a spotter when necessary.

  • Rerack and return free weights back to their appropriate storage area.

  • Refrain from using strong perfume or cologne.

  • Only ICRC authorized personal trainers are allowed to train patrons in the workout facility.

  • Report any equipment misuse or breakage to the ICRC staff.

  • Report any injuries to ICRC staff.

  • During prime hours, limit yourself to a maximum of two sets per station. You may return after completing the rest of your circuit.

  • During prime hours, limit yourself to 30 minutes on all cardiovascular equipment.

  • Please do not touch the audio or video equipment.

  • All equipment must remain inside the facility.

  • In case of an emergency please contact the ICRC staff.

Walking Track

Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sundays – Clockwise

Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturdays - Counterclockwise

  • Individuals must have an active Walking Pass, Fitness Pass, All-Access Pass, or daily pass to have access to the indoor walking track.
  • Participants using the fitness area must be 14 years of age or older.
  • Inside lane designated for Walkers. Outside lane designated for Runners.
  • Pass on outside lane.
  • No more than two people are to walk side by side.
  • Please continue to move while on the track. No standing on the track. Should you need to stop to take a break or talk, please move to areas designated for sitting or stretching.

14 laps = 1 mile 

Open Gym

  • Individuals must hold Open Gym, All-Access, or Daily Pass and must check in at front desk.

  • Kids under 10 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

  • Gym or soft sole shoes and shirt must be worn at all times.

  • No hanging or dunking on basketball rims ($1000 replacement cost for broken rim).

  • Pickleball players should assist with net set-up and tear-down.
  • Disruptive behavior, foul or threatening language, and vandalism will not be tolerated.

  • No Open food or beverage containers allowed in the gym.

  • Activities conducted for personal business or financial gain are prohibited without prior authorization.

  • User/participant will incur any cost for damage caused by disorderly play.

  • Please keep valuables at home; ICRC is not responsible for belongings that are lost or stolen.

  • Gym 2 is designated for volleyball; Gym 3 is designated for basketball.

  • Report any infractions listed above to the ICRC staff.

Public Use

As a service to the community, the Irmo Chapin Recreation Commission shall grant on a rental basis the use of recreation facilities to responsible, properly organized, local and community groups and individuals in keeping with the following general policies. The Commission reserves the right to deny use of facilities to any group or individual to ensure the best interest of the Commission and citizens of the district is being served

  • The recreation facilities are provided through public funds for recreational purposes. Use of the Irmo Chapin Recreation Commission facilities for its programs and by Commission related or co-sponsored groups shall take precedence over all other uses.
  • At no time will any facility be rented, leased, or used by any person, group, or organization on an indefinite basis.
  • Facilities shall not be used for fund raising events except for events sponsored by groups known to be organized for charitable purposes.  
  • Organizations, groups, and persons utilizing Commission facilities shall be made responsible for assuring the proper conduct of all persons attending the event, and by providing police protection when required by ICRC and for immediately restoring Commission property in the event of damage. All such terms, including any fee, shall be set forth in a signed contract.
  • No alcoholic beverages will be allowed at Seven Oaks Park.
  • The distribution or use of tobacco/vaping products is prohibited in all indoor facilities and outdoor facilities including but not limited to athletic facilities, restrooms, concession stands, press boxes, playgrounds, shelters, bleachers, and areas as designated.
  • Motorized vehicles are prohibited on trails and walkways on all ICRC property except for ADA approved assistance mobility devices.
  • Unmanned aerial, surface or ground vehicles controlled remotely by a human operator are prohibited at Seven Oaks Park including but not limited to drones, remote-control water vessels and remote-control cars or trucks.   
  • The Irmo Chapin Recreation Commission facilities are not to be used for a personal business or for personal financial gain: unless contracted through ICRC and scheduled for specific time and date of usage.

Pet Policy 

  • Pets must be on a handheld leash that is no more than six feet in length. E-Collars are not acceptable leashes at ICRC facilities.

  • Pets must be always under the owner’s control.

  • Aggressive and/or barking dogs are not allowed in the parks.

  • Owners must clean up after pets.

  • Pets must be wearing current tags or owner must have proof of up-to-date vaccinations with the pet.

  • Pets are not allowed in any building or other areas designated by signage.

  • Pets are not allowed on the athletic fields.

  • Service dogs and law enforcement dogs are exempt from the above rules.

Behavior Code of Conduct 

The following actions will not be tolerated at Seven Oaks Park:

  • Possession, transfer or use of a firearm or any item that may be perceived as a weapon.
  • Possession, distribution or use in any amount of marijuana, hallucinogenic drugs, or other controlled or illegal substance.
  • Possession, distribution or use in any amount of alcohol or tobacco by a minor.
  • Vandalism, destruction of property. Will be subject to restitution of property.
  • Fighting or simulating/provoking a fight.
  • Threatening conduct to patron or staff. Including, but not limited to assault.
  • Inappropriate sexual conduct and/or sexual assault.
  • Excessive use of abusive or obscene language.
  • Disruption of the park.
  • Disrespectful and/or unruly behavior.
  • Persistent disobedience and/or direct refusal to obey a staff member.
  • Lying/false information to a staff member.
  • Parking violation.
  • Open Gym infraction.
  • Aiding and abetting another patron who is committing any rule violation.
