Today marks an exciting milestone for the Irmo Chapin Recreation Commission and our community as we celebrate the opening of the new Saluda Shoals Riverwalk and trailhead at Dreher Shoals Landing! The Saluda Shoals Riverwalk at Dreher Shoals Landing features 2.5 miles of paved trail and boardwalk along the north bank of the Saluda River, connecting to Saluda Shoals Park. The ADA-accessible, pet and family-friendly trail features a 10-foot-wide paved walkway with elevated boardwalk sections. Visitors can enjoy walking, running, biking, wildlife viewing, and family recreation along the beautifully shaded trail.
